Manheim Farm Show
Our sportsmen’s club sets up a table at the Manheim Community Farm Show to connect with neighbors who share a love for the outdoors and local traditions. We display a variety of pelts and mounts to give visitors a hands-on, interactive way to learn about wildlife and conservation. It’s a great opportunity to talk about hunting and fishing safety, youth programs, and how our club supports and gives back to the community—while being an approachable, educational part of this hometown event.
Manheim Farm Show – October 5-9, 2026
Trap Taters Stand
Trap Taters is one of the most popular stops at the Manheim Community Farm Show—and for good reason! Run by our sportsmen’s club, this baked potato stand serves up hot, hearty baked potatoes with a wide variety of topping choices, including the always-favorite fully loaded baked potato. It’s comfort food done right and a must-have for many fairgoers each year.
In addition to baked potatoes, Trap Taters also offers refreshing fresh-brewed iced tea and cotton candy, making it a perfect stop for both meals and treats. Proceeds from the stand help support our club’s programs, conservation efforts, and community involvement, so every bite helps give back.
Steak Stand
In addition to our educational display and baked potatoes, the club also operates a popular cheesesteak stand during the farm show. The stand helps raise funds that support club programs, conservation efforts, and community initiatives—while serving up great food to fairgoers.
We are currently seeking Assistant Managers to help keep the cheesesteak stand running smoothly, especially when Dale Ginder is unavailable. Responsibilities include opening and closing the stand, taking inventory, placing supply orders, and overseeing daily operations. If you’re interested in helping out and playing a key role in this important fundraiser, please contact Dale Ginder at 717-665-6147.
